The VLS stands out among long range speakers due to its lightweight, on-the-person design and portability. Powered by a military-standard 2590 battery, it uses patented technology to broadcast highly intelligible sound over 500 meters. Features like AF-LOCK™ startup protection, wireless unit networking, and instant playback of pre-recorded messages make it ideal for rapid-response scenarios.
The M-215 AHD is a powerful, modular long-range speaker equipped with a 240W internal amplifier, two high-power emitters, and superior audio beam directionality. Operating with both DC and AC power, it features advanced speech optimization software, IP65 weatherproofing, and manages clear communication up to and beyond 1500 meters — even above 90 dB background noise—making it suited for security, emergency, and mobile applications.
Long range speakers like the VLS and M-215 AHD empower fire departments to broadcast evacuation instructions clearly through smoke and noise in large or multi-story buildings. Their high-intelligibility sound projection directs people safely out of burning structures, even over long distances or through obstacles, improving crowd control and increasing safety. The VLS is fully operational in under 10 seconds and can be left unattended to broadcast evacuation messages, direct operator control is not required.
These long range speakers are engineered for demanding environments such as defense and military operations, law enforcement, border control, emergency services, fire scenarios, and maritime uses. Their portability, clear communication, and weather-resistant design also make them optimal for rapid crowd notification, disaster response, and high-noise industrial settings.
Yes, the VLS supports both immediate live voice broadcast and instant playback of pre-recorded messages. Stored messages can be triggered rapidly during emergencies, while Bluetooth provides independent volume control for on-the-fly warnings and announcements.
The VLS runs on a military-standard 2590 battery for complete portability and field use. The M-215 AHD offers flexible power with internal amplifier options for DC (12-36V) or AC (90-240V), supporting a wide range of mobile and stationary deployments.
Absolutely. Both the VLS and the M-215 AHD are housed in robust, weatherproof (IP65 rating for M-215 AHD) casings to withstand extreme conditions, including temperature fluctuations, dust, water, and physical impacts. This makes them reliable for outdoor military, rescue, and event scenarios.
The VLS allows multiple units to be connected wirelessly, rapidly expanding the sound coverage area. This is vital in emergencies or large public events, ensuring clear guidance reaches everyone.
The M-215 AHD features an advanced amplifier controller, speech optimization software, and a highly focused audio beam to maximize force projection—even in high-noise settings. The VLS uses patented sound direction technology and unique startup protection to ensure audio clarity without harming bystanders.
Yes, both the VLS and the M-215 AHD are designed for portability. The VLS is lightweight and suited for carrying on-the-person, while the M-215 AHD weighs just 12.1kg (without accessories) and includes modular, stand-alone features and optional soft-shoulder protection for mobile, rapid deployment—ideal for first responders and security teams.
