    VITAVIC 401 Central Communication Unit (CCU)

    Provides two operators with full access to the intercom, and 2 connected radios when connected to the CCU. The CCU provides Commanders Override for emergencies, and an automatic rebroadcast/retransmission facility of the two primary radios. Additional system units are connected to the CCU to increase capability for additional radios, crew members and integrated systems.

    VITAVIC 402 Basic Communication Unit – (BCU)

    Two additional crew members can be connected to the BCU’s providing full access to the Intercom and all connected radios with independent volume control for crew members. Maximum of 3 BCU’s per system configuration

    The REU allows for a further 4 radios to be connected to the system, controlled by crew members with access to the CCU or BCU’s. The REU has a unique feature allowing for all configurations of the connected radios to be automatically rebroadcast/retransmitted.

    Three crew members can be connected to the ICU with access to the intercom with individual volume control.

    Crew members connected to the ICU can also monitor connected radios via the BCU they are connected to.

    A total of 6 ICU’s can be connected together to allow for additional crew member intercom eg Infantry Section/Squad in an Infantry Fighting Vehicle

    VITAVIC 408 Audio & Data Interface (ADI)

    ADI processes signals from the Battle Management System, Ethernet and audio interfaces or vehicle sensors and generates warning messages. It can also facilitate the record of received and transmitted radio communications and intercom.

    Connected crew members also have intercom, and monitor/control of all radios connected to the system.
