Allows the operator to monitor and control both classified and unclassified radios
The Cross-Domain Router (CDR) and the Cross-Domain Switch (CDS) together provide a Cross-Domain Audio System solution allowing audio integration of unclassified radios when connected in an accrediated internal communications system.
The purpose of the Cross-Domain Router is to route bi-directional audio channels to and from different non-classified (up to a maximum of three) radios to its crew members (up to a maximum of two) in the vehicle. This allows the operator the capability of monitoring and controlling the vehicles radios and any attached non-classified radios whilst simultaneously maintaining safety and control via the intercom system.
