Designed to work with the ViTac family of Headsets & PTT’s, the 400C is capable of supporting up to 6 connected radios and 26 users.
The REU allows for a further 4 radios to be connected to the system, controlled by crew members with access to the CCU or BCU’s. The REU has a unique feature allowing for all configurations of the connected radios to be automatically rebroadcast/retransmitted.
Three crew members can be connected to the ICU with access to the intercom with individual volume control.
Crew members connected to the ICU can also monitor connected radios via the BCU they are connected to.
A total of 6 ICU’s can be connected together to allow for additional crew member intercom eg Infantry Section/Squad in an Infantry Fighting Vehicle
ADI processes signals from the Battle Management System, Ethernet and audio interfaces or vehicle sensors and generates warning messages. It can also facilitate the record of received and transmitted radio communications and intercom.
Connected crew members also have intercom, and monitor/control of all radios connected to the system.
The ViTac CPU family range from a single button PTT to a 4 channel switch option capable of monitoring/controlling simultaneous dual channel radios and vehicle intercom/harness systems. The CPU can also integrate with CBRN microphones and CBRN personal loudspeakers.
