These modular PA systems are designed to be custom built to suit complex operations or to provide public address broadcasts over very large areas (greater than 1 square mile). For smaller areas a standard long-range PA system, or tactical PA system is usually better suited.
The modules or 'packs' come with different specifications to provide users with ultimate flexibility and feature the high quality audio equipment that users have come to expect from Technomad public address systems. There are 3 basic module packs which make up the modular public address system, but additional accessories can be added;
1. AUDIO SOURCE PACK
This is the audio transmission source for the output pack(s) and can be linked via the wireless or fibre-optic link kits. The audio source pack includes: CD player, IP66 flight case, hand-held microphone and expandable 6-input mixer. Additional accessories can be added, such as a SuperConductor or LMR interface. Everything in the pack comes pre-wired and no set-up is required.
2. LINK KITS
The link kits send the source audio transmission from the audio source pack to one or more output packs via either wireless, ethernet or fibre-optic cable. A link kit is required at the audio source pack and at EVERY output pack.
3. OUTPUT PACKS
The output packs feature everything needed to receive, amplify and project audio signals through the included public address loudspeakers. Output packs can be directional or omnidirectional and project audio at varying ranges to fit the set-up and audio radius required by the user.
